Cathedral Park Performing Arts Collective (CPPAC) is a non-profit organization serving greater St. Johns and surrounding north Portland communities. CPPAC offers music, theatre arts, and dance classes, ensembles, and workshops that convey principles of self-determination.
St Johns Swap N Play is a fabulous community driven resource for little ones and their grown ups! Their play space engages children ages 0-7 in diverse, interactive activities while providing access to shared resources and opportunities for parents and caregivers to connect.
It’s been a pleasure working with them and the St Johns Community!

First off, to all the grown ups out there my name is David Pollack. I first got into teaching back in my hometown of New York City were I was teaching after school music and private lessons. My first experience working with the toddler population was at Kidville, a franchise that had classes for young kids. I was the leader of a kids band were I taught their curriculum while performing songs from all kind of genres! That experience influenced the class Music Exploration that I teach currently. Throughout the last 10 years I’ve taught all different age ranges from toddlers to high school! Besides teaching I run Curbside Serenade, a non profit that curates public performances in non traditional spaces such as parks, pedestrian plazas and Curbsides. I also write songs and perform around town with my band DoublePlay and my solo project. I look forward to rocking out with you all!
